2. Services

The Photographer provides professional photography services, including (but not limited to) destination weddings, marriage proposals, couple sessions, elopements, and editorial/portrait work. Service details (date, location, duration, deliverables, fees) are defined in a written quote, booking confirmation, or contract.

3. Inquiries and Booking Confirmation

Submitting an inquiry via the Site, email, or other channels does not guarantee availability and does not create a binding booking. A booking is confirmed only when:

• the Photographer confirms availability in writing, and
• the Client accepts the quote/terms in writing, and
• the required retainer/deposit (if applicable) is received.

The Photographer may decline any request at their discretion.

4. Fees, Retainer, and Payments

Payment amounts, due dates, and methods are stated in the quote or contract. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

• a retainer/deposit may be required to secure the date;
• retainers are generally non-refundable (see Section 5);
• final delivery may be paused until all outstanding balances are paid.

5. Cancellation and Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling requests must be made in writing.

• Client cancellation: retainers/deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in writing.
• Rescheduling: subject to Photographer availability and may require an updated quote if costs/logistics change.

In case of force majeure (e.g., serious illness, government restrictions, natural events), both parties will work in good faith to find a fair solution (such as rescheduling or partial credits) based on the specific circumstances and any written agreement.

6. Copyright and Image Usage

All photographs created by the Photographer are protected by copyright law. The Photographer retains full copyright ownership of all images. Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the Client receives a personal, non-commercial license to use the delivered images for personal purposes (e.g., sharing with family/friends, posting on personal social media).

The Client may not:

• sell, license, or use images for commercial purposes without written permission;
• apply heavy edits, filters, or manipulations that materially alter the work (unless agreed);
• remove copyright notices/metadata where present.

Portfolio & promotion: The Photographer may display images for portfolio, website, social media, publications, and marketing, unless the Client requests a written privacy restriction prior to the shoot (or as otherwise agreed in writing).

7. Deliverables and Delivery Timeline

Delivery format (digital gallery, download link, etc.) and estimated timelines are communicated at booking or in the contract. Timelines are estimates and may vary due to seasonality, workload, or unforeseen circumstances. Delays caused by factors outside the Photographer’s control do not constitute breach of contract.

8. Client Responsibilities

The Client is responsible for providing accurate information, obtaining permissions where required (venues, private locations, permits), and ensuring that the Photographer can safely perform the service. If third-party restrictions limit photography (e.g., venue rules), the Photographer is not liable for missed images resulting from those restrictions.

9. Limitation of Liability

The Photographer will perform services with reasonable care and professional standards. To the maximum extent permitted by law:

• the Photographer is not liable for delays or failures caused by events outside their control;
• the Photographer’s total liability is limited to the amount actually paid for the service in question.

10. Site Use

You agree not to misuse the Site, attempt unauthorized access, or use the Site for unlawful purposes. The Photographer does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Site.

11. Privacy and Cookies

Personal data is processed in accordance with the Site’s policies: Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

12. Changes to These Terms

The Photographer may update these Terms from time to time. Updates become effective when posted on the Site.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy. Any disputes shall be subject to the competent court as determined under applicable Italian law, unless mandatory consumer protections apply.
